Reiki comes from the Japanese words "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life energy. It is an energetic healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the client through touch. Reiki activates the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restores physical and emotional wellbeing.
Energy can stagnate or become blocked in the body, and in time, these energy blocks can cause illness or emotional distress. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove blockages through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner's hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head, and front and back of the torso.
Reiki improves the flow of energy around the body and provides deep relaxation, stress relief, and relief from pain. It also aids the body's natural healing processes and reduces other symptoms of illness and emotional distress. Many clients report feeling less anxious and depressed, more able to cope, better sleep, reduced brain fog and generally "lighter" after a Reiki session.
Please note that my services are covered under most insurance plans.
I offer two types of Reiki sessions:
In-Studio Reiki Session
In-person Reiki session is offered in my studio to a fully clothed recipient who is lying on a treatment table or sitting comfortably supported in a chair.
Reiki helps the flow of energy and removes blockages through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner's hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head, and front and back of the torso.
Duration of a complete Reiki session is 1 hour.
Distance Reiki Session
Distance Reiki can be sent to someone who is not physically present in the studio. In fact, it can be sent to anyone, anywhere, and at any time. To receive Distance Reiki healing, you don't have to do anything special, but it's best to lie down and be still if possible.
The effects of distant healing are virtually no different from hands-on healing.
Duration of a complete Distance Reiki session is 1 hour.
